BIOGRAPHY:
Nate Mondschein is an award-winning songwriter, producer, mixing engineer, multi-instrumentalist, member of the 2Many Cooks writing & production team, and owner/chief operator of Echo Base Production, a music production company based out of Massachusetts.
Across a decade-plus, Nate has worked alongside a diverse array of musical artists in a variety of genres, from pop powerhouses (Camille Trust) to space-folk singer-songwriters (Wallace Field), neo-indie-fusion-soul (The Rooks), and alternative-hip-hop (Josh The Word). Nate also produces music as a solo artist under the moniker Best Mann, and licenses music to a variety of libraries and companies, most notably the NYC-based fitness franchise Row House and media conglomerate Viacom. In 2019, Nate was awarded the ASCAP Robert Allen Award for his writing and production work with Camille Trust.
Whether working for sync, commercial release, or passion project. Nate brings a devotion to emotive, emotionally authentic performance, a drive to create and manipulate compelling analog sounds in a modern context, an ear for creative yet catchy arrangements, an encyclopedic catalog of musical references to draw upon and incorporate in an innovative way, and an unending commitment to the pocket.
