BIOGRAPHY:
Nate Mondschein is an award-winning producer, composer, mixing engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and owner/chief operator of Echo Base Production, a music production company based out of Massachusetts.
Across two decades, Nate has worked alongside a diverse array of musical artists in a variety of genres, including Cloudbelly, Heather Maloney, The Nields, High Tea, Ashley Hess, Henry Hall, KT Tunstall, Tropidelic, Wet Leather, Maria Lynn, Effee, Joey Baby, Todd Lewis Kramer, Jess Best, Wallace Field, Meagan Gunnip, Sodada, Spencer H., Josh the Word, and many more. Nate also produces music as a solo artist under the moniker Best Mann, and licenses music to a variety of libraries and companies, most notably the NYC-based fitness franchise Row House and media conglomerate Viacom. In 2019, Nate was awarded the ASCAP Robert Allen Award for his writing and production work with Camille Trust.

Nate brings a devotion to emotive, emotionally authentic performance, a drive to create and manipulate compelling analog sounds in a modern context, an ear for creative yet catchy arrangements, an encyclopedic catalog of musical references to draw upon and incorporate in an innovative way, and an unending commitment to the pocket.
